On 8 March, Lisbon once again hosts one of Europe’s most iconic sporting events: the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and unique setting, the race brings together thousands of participants from many different nationalities, turning the city into a truly international stage for sport and community spirit.
The race begins on the iconic Ponte 25 de Abril — a rare opportunity to cross the bridge on foot — and finishes in the area of the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos in Belém. The route combines breathtaking views over the River Tagus with some of Lisbon’s most emblematic landmarks.
