8-08-19- There are three Portuguese universities among the 150 best institutions of Higher Education with fifty years or less. 

As reported by Uniarea, the University of Aveiro, the University of Lisbon, and the Nova University of Lisbon now part of the QS Top 50 Under 50/ 2020 ranking with the University of Lisbon in 43rd place. The Nova University of Lisbon has been ranked within the section of 61st-70th falling in relation to the previous year, where it was in 49th, as well as the University of Aveiro, which fell from the 81st-90th group to the group of the 91st-100th positions.
