13/04/23 - The Teatro Académico Gil Vicente (TAGV) hosts between April 11^th and 13^th 2023 the Italian Cinema Festival, an initiative whose mission is to showcase Italian Cinema, a little throughout the country.

Every year, the initiative organized by Il Sorpasso Association, founded in 2008 and with the goal of promoting and spreading cinematographic culture in different aspects, presents the best of Italian Cinema.

From previews of films presented at the most diverse international festivals, to experimental films or films with a new cinematographic language, and not forgetting retrospectives and tributes to great authors of Italian cinema.

The film festival takes place all over the country, with a vast schedule from March 29^th to May 27^th, 2023.

During the dates from April 11^th to 13^th it will pass through Coimbra, where it will have 9 sessions of Italian cinema, with times ranging from 15H00, 18H00, 21H00, thus providing space and opportunity for a visit throughout the day.
