The historical centre of Sintra, Parque da Liberdade, Largo do Palácio Nacional de Sintra and the NewsMuseum will be the scenery of the Christmas spirit. With the return of the Christmas Kingdom, from 1st to 6thDecember, you can look forward to free programmes in the three most symbolic places of Sintra - and for all ages.
Parque da Liberdade will be an essential stop for families with children. Inhabited by snowmen, elves, reindeer, and other magical beings, who provide the usual street animation. There will also be workshops, sporting activities and theatre performances.
The traditional Christmas tree will be next to the Palácio Nacional de Sintra, together with the Christmas Market, open every day from 10am to 7pm. The remaining programme ranges from circus arts, including performances by Chapitô, to concerts by the Sons e Compassos Music Conservatory and videomapping shows by the Vórtice Dance Company.
