01/02/2024 – First edition of KULTURfest in Lisbon

The Goethe-Institut in Lisbon presents the first edition of KULTURfest - Festival of German-Speaking Cultures, an initiative that brings together cinema, literature, language, music, and other activities, always with a focus on the German-speaking world of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Luxembourg.

 Marking the annual start of festivals in the Portuguese capital, KULTURfest will take place from 31 January to 5 February 2024 at the Goethe-Institut in Lisbon and at Cinema São Jorge.

The programme also includes a prize draw for a trip to Germany for 4 people, activities for families, German mini-classes, gastronomy showcookings, a German winter market, dance and music curated by the collective Filho Único.

KULTURfest is organised by the Goethe-Institut in Lisbon, in partnership with the Il Sorpasso Association and with the support of the St Bartholomew's Association of Germans in Lisbon, the German Embassy, the Austrian Embassy, the Luxembourg Embassy, the Swiss Embassy, the German National Tourist Office and the German School of Lisbon.
