According to a study carried out by the American company iVisa, in a ranking that includes 40 destinations in various countries around the world, Lisbon was considered the happiest. 

There were five reasons why Lisbon was considered the happiest city in the world: quality of life, number of sun hours, number of hours worked, cost of living and, of course, the friendliness of its residents. 

It was also considered one of the most beautiful cities on the planet, reaching the Top 4 of the U city Guide in this category. Fado, the Jerónimos Monastery, as well as the Tower of Belém or even the custard tarts are highlighted by the company as references not to be missed when visiting the city.
