19.5.2022-Record number of competitors, three world champions at the start. There is plenty of reasons to be interested in the Rally of Portugal that begins in Coimbra on the 19th of May. StudentVille tells you all about it!

The start of the Vodafone Rally of Portugal is set, with the Ceremonial Start and the Super Special in Coimbra. An absolute opening, scheduled to start at 8:40pm, today, 19^th of May. A three-kilometre-long qualifying stage, designed around the urban perimeter of the city of Mondego.

 

The largest sporting event held in the country will host the first time that a new generation of hybrid cars will be driven on dirt tracks, which will further increase the sporting interest of the Portuguese event. After all, which team has worked best with the new technical regulations? The defending champion, Toyota Gazoo Racing, with the Yaris; Hyundai Motorsport with the i20; or M-Sport Ford with the new Puma? The answer can only be known from the 19^th of May.
