22-10-2020 - The  Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) recognized by The Times Higher Education as the 1^st University in Portugal, for the 2nd consecutive year, among the 12 national Higher Education institutions that integrate the 2021 edition of The Times Higher Education World University Rankings (THE WUR2021).  

 In the most recent edition of this ranking, UCP maintained its national leadership position, being in the first quartile of the world ranking (position 351-400).  

 The world University Ranking is a prestigious international ranking that covers the main areas of activity of a university, evaluating 13 performance indicators, grouped into five areas: Teaching, Research, Citations, International Outlook and Industry Income.  

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings is composed of the 1527 most reputable institutions of Higher Education worldwide, such as Harvard University, , Oxford University and Imperial College London, among others.
